FAQs

Do I need to connect my wallet to launch a token?
Yes, in order for you to be able to create your own token, you need to generate a new wallet or connect an existing wallet to EspressoBot.
Is there any risk associated with connecting your wallet to Espresso?
By sharing your private key with the platform, you accept the risk of doing so. This is a common practice in the Telegram bots sector (see Maestro, Unibot, etc.), so you can rest assured we will never touch your funds (it's not in our interest). We also suggest you to create a new wallet by hitting "Generate New Private Key" from the bot's settings, then only depositing the amount you need to launch a token into the connected wallet.
Is the bot free?
The bot is free to access, as you can customize your token for free. When it comes to launching the token on the market, though, you will be charged 1% of the ETH amount deposited in the initial liquidity pool and 1% tax on buy/sell transactions of your token. We will use these fees to maintain the bot and provide rewards to our community.
If you want to unlock discounted, or even free token launches, please read the section on our utility token, $ESPR, and how it allows for 0% costs for "Doppio" tier holders.
How does the bot make money?
Without considering discounts for $ESPR holders - we have the following revenue sources:
1% Buy/Sell tax on tokens deployed through EspressoBot
1% Tax on the initial ETH LP deposit when users launch a new token
5% Buy/Sell tax on $ESPR + 5% on transfers
Who will cover gas fees for token deployment?
Gas fees will be borne by users launching a token.
How many tokens can I launch through EspressoBot?
As many as you wish!
Which networks do you support?
As of today, we support token deployments on Ethereum mainnet, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Blast, and Scroll.
Can I change my token's Buy/Sell taxes after deployment?
Since contract is renounced by default, taxes can’t be changed. Malicious users could change tax to a huge % and harm traders, but we are committed to not allowing this, focusing on coins with a safe structure.
